​COVID-19 Programs

Since March 2020, Hmong Youth and Parents United has partnered with various funders and organizations to support our community through the COVID-19 Pandemic. The COVID-19 Programs includes outreach, food and essential items giveaways, financial assistance grants, contact tracing and case investigators programs, business navigators programs, and employment opportunities for youth and the unemployed.

Interested in a COVID-19 vaccination appointment? Make an appointment with us on May 2nd, 2021 at the HOPE Center from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM to secure a spot for you and your loved ones!

Emergency & General Needs Assistance Program

Thank you to all who applied for our COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program!

This pandemic has resulted in thousands of families who have experienced financial hardships and challenges.
We are no longer providing assistance due to funds being exhausted from this program. Should any other programs present itself to aid the families who are struggling, we will inform everyone right away.

Food and Items Drive Thru Giveaways

HYPU along with community sponsors are providing ethnic culturally sensitive essential foods and items to the families in Sacramento County. We are currently not hosting any food giveaways however, please visit soon to see if we've updated with any new information regarding future giveaways.
