Become a U.S. Citizen
We have partnered up with The Fresno Center to bring to you Naturalization services to Sacramento County! If you are a permanent resident with a Green Card, you may qualify to become a U.S. citizen through “naturalization.” To qualify, you must be 18 years old and be a legal permanent resident (LPR) for 5 years or 3 years if married and living with a U.S. citizen spouse, have good moral character, and can show that you understand basic English or will get to interview in the language of your choice if age and years of being a LPR have met, 50 years old and 20 years LPR, 55 years old and 15 years (study 100 questions), and 65 years old and 20 years LPR (study 20 questions).
